Three times the stamp fun!

Today has seen a lot of fun things with the stamp world:  1) the new U.S. stamps for the remainder of 2015 and 2016 were revealed – including Charlie Brown Christmas stamps, 2) there were two Forever stamps unveiled, and 3) all of this was done at the American Philatelic Society (APS) StampShow in Grand Rapids, Michigan which began today.

There is a great article today on  Linn’s Stamp News – “Upcoming U.S. stamps for 2015, 2016 revealed” – which lists the new U.S. stamps including confirmation with the USPS that there will be a set of 10 Christmas stamps featuring A Charlie Brown Christmas to be issued October 01.     You will want to read their article for the details – the only stamp they were showing an image of was the Charlie Brown which I’ve included.  In checking over at the USPSStamps site I did not find anything about this listed yet.

The list shows for 2015 of new U.S. Stamps:  Sept. 2, Spectrum Eagle coil; Oct. 1, A Charlie Brown Christmas; Oct. 23, Geometric Snowflakes; 2015, date unknown, Neon Celebrate.

And for 2016 new U.S. Stamps (at least for the first half):  January, Year of the Monkey; 2016, first quarter, Quilled Paper Heart; 2016, first quarter, Richard Allen; 2016, first quarter, Sarah Vaughan; 2016, first quarter, Botanical Art; 2016, second quarter, Indiana Statehood; 2016, second quarter, Jaime Escalante; 2016, second quarter, Pets; 2016, second quarter, World Stamp Show-NY 2016;   and 2016, second quarter, Repeal of the Stamp Act in 1766.
