Given tonight was the State of the Union 2016 the timing is great for this blog post Title of the book –
“Dere Mr. President”: The Hilarious Letters Kids Write to the President
The book shows the Foreword is by Richard Nixon, has an Introduction by Art Linkletter, wsa Edited by Hannibal Coons, and Illustrated by John DeMarco.
Old copies of the book are still available on sites such as Biblio.com, which I have ordered a copy this evening!
And while I was not able to uncover the jacket write-up of the book there is one reader review I located at goodreads and describes the book contains “youngsters’ letters to then President Nixon, seems much more authentic.”…
It has been fun to see there is a ebook version advertised as available for “Dere Mr. President”: The Hilarious Letters Kids Write to the President available for download, love being able to use the digital to find old titles like the one today.
The one site I’m going to try next is over at the Donnaplay site that boasts a large digital content library and it shows this ebook is available there. Apparently one can try out a five-day trial for no charge and I’m going to pay attention to the fine print on how to cancel with no penalty.
My advice is be careful with any of these free trial (but means a subscription site) – as I did try out a different site earlier which was toting it had a ebook of this Title. While the enrollment was easy trying to cancel the renewal immediately after signing up resulted in the must contact them by phone during office hours to manually cancel message. I’m interested in trying out Donnaplay with the free trial period offered and then determine to continue and will keep you posted!
