The first day ceremony of the Repeal of the Stamp Act 1766 stamp was held at the World Stamp Show-NY 2016 today, May 29th.  The show runs May 28 – June 04, 2016.

The stamp “commemorates the 250th anniversary of the repeal of the Stamp Act, British legislation that American colonists condemned as “taxation without representation.”

From what I read the new Forever® stamps will be available next week.

These stamps are beautiful and I look forward to being able to get them very soon!
