On this Saturday morning, I’m posting early to share the opportunities for sending Homefront Valentine Hugs for Troops this year.
Over at Homefront Hugs Foundation, they are accepting Valentine cards and letters by February 1. If we include this weekend, there are three weekends between now and sending them off to make it in plenty of time for their deadline.
If you are a last minute person, they will accept receiving what you sent by February 5th at the latest. The deadline is in order for them to send on and have them arrive on time.
Sending Homefront Valentine Hugs for Troops
Homefront Hugs is is an all-volunteer organization led by Alessandra and her son Ed Kellermann. From their Operation Healing Angel page it includes these details:
“Please when you send a handwritten card or letter to lift morale: label each one so we know whom it is for … You can put multiple cards in one envelope but just write in a corner of each one whom they are…

Earlier this week I was mentioning sending Valentine’s through this group in my 2018 Letter Writing Goals & Organization post. I hope you’ll consider making the time to send a few Valentines to the Homefront Valentine Hugs for Troops this year. It is with awe I continue to be amazed at the tireless devotion of this group led by the Kellermann family making such a difference.
