Linn’s article on Military museum reopens, honors heroes with postmark

My blog post last Saturday, November 10th, was on the “100th Armistice Anniversary Pictorial Postmarks Available”.  It was therefore really wonderful to see this article on Monday, over at Linn’s Stamp News which I’m including in my Autumn Saturday Letters Mailbag today.

“Soldiers Memorial Military Museum reopened Nov. 3 after two years of renovations. The 80-year-old art deco landmark received a much-needed face-lift to bring it up to today’s standards. Many new exhibits and features also were added, including “St. Louis in Service,” a long-term exhibit that covers military history from the American Revolution to today. The $30-million-dollar overhaul was funded by anonymous donors.”

My Seth Godin “THIS IS MARKETING” Book Arrived in the Mail

My new Seth Godin book, THIS IS MARKETING, arrived in the mail this week. The book launch was on Tuesday this week. Receiving in the mail the hardback size is 5 x 7 and perfect for carrying around with me for reading. My Limited Edition Marketing Set should be arriving next week.

CURRENT Black Friday Early Bird Special 

In my blog post yesterday on the CURRENT Year Round Address Labels, I was sharing how great they are for having twelve different season themes on hand with our letter writing.  Today, in my email inbox, Current is having their Black Friday Early Bird Special with free shipping for any orders over $30. Arriving at the mailbox today were several letters from Pen Pals!  I’m still getting out more Thanksgiving Day cards into the mail and pushing myself to get the bulk of them out in Monday for mailing.  The Wilmington Philatelic Society Stamp Club met earlier this week which was a delight to see everyone and I’ll have more on that in a future post!
