Discovering Sea Glass Hunters Handbook

If you enjoy collecting sea glass, you will enjoy knowing about the Sea Glass Hunters Handbook by C. S. Lambert. Recently, while out and about I came across this beautiful hardback. It includes a sea glass dictionary of particular interest.

Finding a handbook on sea glass in perfect in following up on my previous letter-writing posts on sea glass including Pure Sea Glass Boxed Note CardsSea Glass Variety Postcard Prints, and Seaglass Notecards Greeting Set Stationery.

Not only is it available in the hardback and paperback formats, it is available with Nook, and Kindle too.

It contains 96 pages in the 5.30(w) x 7.20(h) book.

“The perfect guide for both seasoned and novice seaglunkers, The Sea Glass Hunter’s Handbook reveals how to locate the best beaches and predict optimum conditions; understand coastal access laws; determine the personal and professional value of sea glass’ and identify the source of individual fragments. Sea glass connects civilization and nature, often in surprising ways. This guide investigates how tiny bits of glass and ceramic have engaged generations of avid collectors throughout the world.”

When I came across the book, I was able to thumb through it and am now able to order it. Enjoy getting a copy of this from your library, and/or ordering one for you and perhaps a friend too. It is definitely something I’ll be writing about in my letter writing with fellow sea glass enthusiasts – Enjoy!

Join me tomorrow as we kick off the new week. And yes, Father’s Day is two weeks from today – time to start getting greeting cards for any mailings.
