Figments Studio Stationery abounds with an amazing Vintage Collection!
Figments Studio Stationery
Let me start today’s blog post by saying today is a real treat to see some beautiful stationery that is unique and a delight to consider for our letter writing correspondence and/or if you are looking for a unique gift idea for your letter writing friends!
The Figments Studio site includes Journals Stationery Desk Accessories Gifts & Décor Greeting Cards Collections Gift Ideas Blog and more. If the name sounds familiar you may have seen some of their products “at The Biltmore Estate as well as many museums and fine gift stores across the country!” You can purchase through their site online and/or at locations listed at their Store Locator of fine retailers.
Figments Studio® was started in 1995 by artist Jill Marie Crvich “selling her journals and accessories at local craft shows in North Carolina and the Pacific Northwest. She later expanded her collection and added an on-line store. Figments Studio combines Jill’s long standing interest in antiques, fairy tales, journal writing (she began at age 10), historical imagery and architecture, as well as work by artists such as Rackham, Waterhouse and Hughes.”
what is old is new again
The Figments Studio Stationery Vintage Collection has me thinking “what is old is new again” when looking at this beautiful line! There is the Vintage Note Pad, Vintage Mailbox Note Cards, Vintage Stationery Box, Vintage Typewriter Note Cards, Vintage Typewriter Note Pad, and Vintage Writing Tablet. The Vintage Mailbox Note Cards are described as “Reminiscent of an old metal mailbox with an aged patina, this Note Card Box includes 10 note cards, 10 envelopes, 10 wax seal stickers with a magnetic closure.”
There is a wonderful instructional video for retailers with Jill walking through setting up the products display. Even if you just watch the first two and a half minutes it lets you see the beautiful products.
Their recent blog entry from January 18 of “How to keep your New Year’s Resolution” offers up some good ideas. Have fun exploring this wonderful site full of “Enchanting Journals & Gifts to Kindle Your Imagination”!
