We are kicking off the new week with JFK Forever Stamp Presidents Day 2017
Today the US Postal Service will be issuing the new John F. Kennedy Forever stamp. The February 20 Ceremony planned for today, will be “dedicating a Forever stamp in his honor at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston.”
“This stamp commemorates the 100th anniversary of the birth of John Fitzgerald Kennedy (1917-1963),
35th president of the United States. Kennedy was the nation’s first Catholic president and, at age 43, the youngest person ever elected to the nation’s highest office.”
The stamp will be available beginning February 21 for purchase. If the stamp looks familiar, it was previously included here last September, in my post, on the 2017 US Postal Service Previews Select Stamps.
