We are looking today at the Work Clean book by Dan Charnas. The 2016 full title is: Work Clean: The Life-Changing Power of Mise-En-Place to Organize Your Life, Work and Mind.
The paperback I have on order is with a slightly different title: Everything in Its Place: The Power of Mise-En-Place to Organize Your Life, Work, and Mind.I’m awaiting delivery of its arrival tomorrow and I’m planning to be reading it daily during Lent.
“This journey into the world of chefs and cooks shows you how each principle works in the kitchen, office, home, and virtually any other setting.”
Before beginning, a few items. First, wanting to mention over at the Mardi Gras New Orleans website: “Mardi Gras, or “Fat Tuesday,” is the last day of the Carnival season as it always falls the day before Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent.” Also, in my February 2017 AnchoredScraps Daily Blog Recap (2-28-2017), it includes the Mardi Gras Postcard Museum.
Furthermore, the 2019 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament (aka March Madness) begins later this month. It is from Tuesday, March 19, 2019 – Monday, April 8, 2019.
“Work Clean: The Life-Changing Power of Mise-En-Place to Organize Your Life, Work and Mind”
“The first organizational book inspired by the culinary world, taking mise-en-place outside the kitchen.”
As I go through the book I’m going to be back here sharing insights from it. For today wanting to mention it and perhaps you want to get the book too for during Lent. See you tomorrow!
Anchors Aweigh,
Helen
