Today’s blog post is short and sweet with an ode to the vintage label maker!
Did you ever have the opportunity to get lost in the process of using up all of the tape roll ? And make labels for everything! I recall using a Label Maker Gun that would produce embossed plastic labels.
My current DYMO label maker is a far cry from what I used as a kid – and I think the old one was more fun! At Dymo they show a huge selection of products for labeling needs with these categories: Mailing & Shipping, Files & Binders, Specialty, Assets & Barcoding, Facilities & MRO, Wires & Cables, Networking Components and Home Organization. (On Twitter @DymoSupport). The latest model I have looks like this one: Dymo LetraTag Plus LT-100H Personal Label Maker.
And for scrapbooking I came across these “Label Letters by Tim Holtz Idea-ology. At TimHoltz.com you can have fun exploring an entire wonderful world on your ‘creative journey’ ! (On Twitter @tim_holtz)

It was fun to come across this You Tube by Cheap_Geek from July 4, 2011 “Vintage Dymo Organizer 1610” sharing his find from a garage sale of embossed plastic label maker. (On Twitter @Cheap__Geek)
Thank you to @DymoSupport and @tim_holtz and @Cheap__Geek who are referenced in today’s blog post.
Just remember at one time the label maker shown from circa 1967 was considered current technology and now are fondly recalled as ‘vintage’. How will our current tools be viewed in years to come? Wishing us continued fun and joy as we use the tools along our ‘creative journey’!
Anchors Aweigh,
Helen
