Happy Friday (#letterwriting)

Welcome to Friday at AnchoredScraps.com.   Today’s blog post is short and sweet with having IRL (In Real Life) lot’s of activity going on including out of town company arriving tonight.

There are three quick items so here we go!

SUSDAT

Earlier this week there was a wonderful blog post by Seth Godin with the sentiment shared of SUSDAT, otherwise known as Show Up, Sit Down and Type. It talks about the importance of the act of blogging daily or whatever your passion is that you are pursuing to commit to doing it daily.  That blog post of his was post #6000 on his blog!   Be sure to check it out!

Friday Letters – the first October edition

This site I am sharing was discovered by my looking around for “Frugal Friday”, then “Autumn Letters” which resulted in coming across “Friday letters – the first October edition” which was posted today by Elaine McNulty.

FridayLetters_Oct22015The blog post is very original and I love how Elaine begins her letter in her blog post with Dear weather, then Dear rugby, next Dear London, and concludes with Dear Fortnum and Mason.   Her approach is creative and I hope you will check it out!

Friday Letter Writing Club Reminder

Also, as a reminder, how are you doing with the “Friday Letter Writing ClubI debuted on September 04 blog post?  From that blog post: “My idea is this: between now and sending out your Christmas cards – each Friday – choose ONE person to write that timeless note to include with your Christmas card.”

Wishing you a great Friday as we begin a very busy (& RAINY) Autumn weekend.
