Today we are looking at coloring books that are now grown-up for us to enjoy and they can be included in a postcard format to send in the mail.
In looking around today there are numerous coloring book stationery that one can send in the mail. There are coloring books for grown-ups which includes activity books, and coloring books with sketch pads – our focus today though are postcard sets. There are three different sets I wanted to call attention to from among the numerous ones I found in my exploring different sites today.
Pretty Pattern Postcards
These “Pretty Pattern Postcards” are especially pretty.
“This lovely, small-format book contains 25 beautifully intricate illustrated postcards to color in. Each postcard is easily detached and has space on the back for a message and address, so they can be easily removed, colored, and sent as a stunning and sophisticated gift. With an eye-catching foil cover and detailed black-and-white designs to color in, The Pretty Pattern Postcards Coloring Book would make a gorgeous gift for the artistically inclined.”
Magical Garden Postcards
Then there are these “Magical Garden” – 20 Postcards: Create Your World
“Discover your inner artist with these 20 detachable postcards for people of all ages to complete and share with friends and family.”
Secret Garden Postcards
And finally “Secret Garden“: 20 Postcards Cards
“Containing 20 detachable postcards of Johanna Basford’s beautiful drawings from the inky world of her Secret Garden. Decorate the cards to bring the flowers and tiny creatures to life, then share the magic with all your friends. For artists and gardeners of all ages.”
Earlier in the year I had blogged about Zentangles – with your hand written doodles. And there was my blog post last month about colored pencils which would work beautifully with these postcard sets.
Thank you to Tally, one of My Three Muses here at AnchoredScraps.com for the idea of coloring books for topic idea as they are being embraced by grown-ups.
Have fun with the format and be sure to actually put them into the mail with stamp once you are done coloring. If you want to take a photo for yourself before sending do so – but get them into the mail!

Helen
