Linn’s 2015 U.S. stamp popularity poll

Linn’s 2015 U.S. stamp popularity poll is open.

Happy Sunday! In case you missed seeing it – earlier this week Linn’s reminded that online voting is open and one has until March 4, 2016 to vote.

“Online voting in the 2015 poll closes March 4, 2016. Completed paper ballots must be postmarked by March 4, 2016, and mailed … Future issues of Linn’s also will carry the U.S. stamp poll ballot. Photocopied ballots are accepted.”

There is a well written article at Linn’s from December and it includes discussing some of the different stamps from among the 100 face-different stamps issued in 2015 by the U.S. Postal Service.

When you go to the Linn’s 2015 U.S. Stamp Popularity Poll to cast your online ballot – be sure to select the “Next” button to begin.  One of the things I love seeing is this is their 14th year the poll offered in print alongside it also being available online.

On the first screen of the ballot they are having you “choose the Commemorative stamp that has the best design and the worst design, as well as the most important and the least necessary issue of the year.”    On the right side I have included a screen shot of the pull down for Best Design Commemorative showing the choices.

There are four different categories (screens) you will vote.

For the first three screens you will select the best design and worst, along with most important and least necessary:
In the “2015 U.S. Commemoratives” category there are 16 stamps.
Then there is the “2015 U.S. Definitives” category with 13 stamps.
Next is the “2015 U.S. Postal Stationery” category with 4 stamps.
And it concludes with voting on “Overall favorite” with just one pull-down to select from all shown.

Voting will continue until March 4, 2016, and you may view the current online voting leaders at any time.
