The Register and Vote commemorative 1968 stamp is today’s Thursday blog post. What a fast paced week it has already been!
Today’s blog post is shorter than usual given how busy it is IRL (In Real Life) as the expression goes. You may have noticed that a Print PDF button has been added to the daily blog posts here for ease of printing (more on it to follow in a future blog post). It is all part of getting the first 500 daily blog posts ready for the printer for my blog book!
Register and Vote Commemorative 1968 stamp
The stamp shown upper left is the 6-cent Register and Vote commemorative 1968 stamp. It was issued on June 27, 1968, at Washington, DC.
“This stamp was issued as part of the campaign to encourage Americans to exercise their right to vote.”
There are three First Day Cancel envelope covers I wanted to share from Mystic Stamp Company available shown for sale.
Join me tomorrow for my Friday blog post here at AnchoredScraps.com!
Anchors Aweigh,
Helen
