On this Friday we are looking at the Old-Time Postmark Calendar 2017 available for ordering.  For those of us who like to begin looking for the next year calendar beginning in September we are not too early.

Over at Jim Mehrer’s Show Calendar for Collectors of Stamps, Postal History and Postcards at the bottom of the page is where I first saw it mentioned. It is under the links to other pages on his site, there is the mention of  Old-Time Postmark Calendar.

The calendar was produced in 1995 and he has some remaining copies of it.  It states in 2017 the dates will be realigned making the calendar usable again.  It gives the address to send check or money order for $7 to order the calendar.

It measures 11″ x 17″ and appears to be in the one page per month style.  Every day gets a different Old-Time Postmark!   It is made with old postmarks from covers and postcards that were traced or copied by him.
