With the French Open held earlier today I’ve been looking at stamps of Tennis Championships including this Roland Garros 1991 Stamp and also looking at Topical Stamps on Tennis Pictorial Postmarks.
It was a fast paced 2017 French Open today watching Rafael Nadal of Spain winning his historic 10th French Open title!
He just turned 31 years old on June 03.

Topical Stamps – Tennis Championships
Over at the catawiki site, their catalog has a large collection of tennis theme stamps by Country.
When looking at Catawiki France it shows several Roland Garros Tennis Stamps, including the Roland Garros 1991 Stamp shown upper left.
There is the AFCOS site that has this Tennis – Roland-Garros 2015 – Album philatélique collector shown below.
At the upcoming local stamp club meeting I’m going to have to ask my stamp buddies about these Topical Stamps – Tennis as I’m wanting to learn more, perhaps you will too!
