While finishing writing today’s blog post I’ve just read of the passing of Steely Dan guitarist Walter Becker.

There is an article over at RollingStone, that Donald Fagen shares a tribute; he references letter writing. “He used to write letters (never meant to be sent) in my wife Libby’s singular voice that made the three of us collapse with laughter.” 

I’m sure today I’ll have on some of their CD’s and have on in the background for letters I’m writing on this Sunday afternoon. Join me tomorrow for my Monday Labor Day blog post.
