It has been a joyous Merry Christmas 2019! I’m hoping the day has been good for you and also peaceful.
This evening it is especially fun and enjoyable going through the Christmas cards received that arrived on Christmas Eve day. And yes, alas, I’m still working on getting out my Christmas cards for 2019 – truly!
In looking ahead to next year, 2020 is a Leap Year. This means Christmas next year will be on a Friday instead of Thursday, today’s Christmas has been on a Wednesday. Right before that, on February 26, 2020, we will find us here celebrating AnchoredScraps FIVE Year Anniversary of blogging daily! Today is daily blog post #1764.
I’m already working on the scrapbook pages so I have Christmas 2019 already done and ready for presenting next year. In attempting to upload all the photos – who knew trying to get photos transferred via the USB to the computer via the new smartphone requires developer settings on the phone?! Apparently, I’m not the only one running into this as there are numerous inquiries about it when searching on google.
Merry Christmas 2019!
In closing, we are grateful for our many blessings.
Of course on today, (and this entire Christmas Season) we have been remembering those no longer with us. While it may be done privately still on our hearts and minds. I know I’m not alone in the balancing of remembering those precious while at the same time embracing the now.
It continues to be very special to be on this daily blog journey with you. Thank you. Speaking of which, Thank YOU’s notes as a blog topic will be coming up very soon here!
Tomorrow begins the After Christmas Day Sales (if you are so inclined) and for the first time in many years, I’m seriously considering participating – albeit I may opt for the “online” special promotions. Stay tuned!
