USPS Winter Berries Forever Stamps
We are beginning with the USPS August 15th Stamp Announcement 19-30 sharing the details on the Winter Berries Stamps. in addition, it includes the details on ordering the First-Day-of-Issue Postmark and First-Day Covers.
“On September 17, 2019, in Tulsa, OK, the United States Postal Service® will issue the Winter Berries stamps (Forever® priced at the First-Class Mail® rate) in four designs, in a pressure-sensitive adhesive booklet of 20 stamps (Item 681600). The stamps will go on sale nationwide September 17, 2019, and must not be sold or canceled before the first-day-of-issue.”
There are 20 stamps in the booklet celebrating “four of winter’s small, yet vibrant offerings”. The four stamp designs are winterberry (Ilex verticillata), juniper berry (Juniperus communis), beautyberry (Callicarpa americana), and soapberry (Sapindus saponaria).
Also, it includes information on the stamp art. It describes it as “highly detailed botanical portraits of each plant that highlight the bold colors and rich textures of their berries.
Lastly, one of the things I really enjoy is carrying around with me a book of stamps because of how handy them come in to have on me. This is a stamp booklet I’m planning on pre-ordering over at the USPS Postal Store for USPS Winter Berries Forever Stamps.
