Our theme for the new week is Writing Outside the Box and what better way to kick it off than with debuting the custom box of AnchoredScraps.com handmade cards!
These cards shown today are hand-made by a card designer good friend of mine whose identity I will unveil next week when her website is ‘ready’ as she puts it. There is a smaller sized AnchoredScraps.com box set with six cards (two sets of three) that will also be made available when my store opens by end of this month. This set shown was custom ordered by me to use with writing family and friends (so much for the surprise factor of writing a note on them given many of my family and friends are subscribers to this blog already!)
The idea this week of Writing Outside the Box is to consider the many options we have to use with our personal correspondence. Each day we will be looking at some options we have that we may not immediately think of but it’s a fun, inexpensive, and great way to use up your stash (I know you have one) and to get your old tired stationery to feel refreshed.
“Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing.” – Benjamin Franklin
So go ahead and start rounding up your envelopes, papers, adhesives, pens & markers and meet me back here tomorrow when we continue with our theme of Writing Outside the Box!
