Looking Ahead

It is hard to believe that this is the last Sunday in the month of September.  How quickly this month has gone by!

Today’s blog post is short and sweet.  It is a reminder that this Thursday will bring the new month of October – and are we ready for it?

For September were you able to get all of the things done that had been planned?

The month ahead means finding some pumpkins to put on the front porch steps.  It means heating up some apple cider with cinnamon sticks, and replacing the sea shells scattered about and replacing them with fall pumpkins instead for the dining table and other related decorating.    It means changing out some of my summer themed stationery with deeper Autumn colors.

“Dost thou love life? Then do not squander time, for that is the stuff life is made of.” – Benjamin Franklin

“When your friends begin to flatter you on how young you look, it’s a sure sign you’re getting old.” – Mark Twain

The month has really flown by, especially beginning the day after Labor Day.   Here’s to the week ahead that straddles two months and having time to fit in some calendar planning along with it.   Join me tomorrow as we kick off a new week here at AnchoredScraps.com – we can plan on it!
