Part 1 Consider Recycling Greeting Cards

Today’s blog post is Part 1 Consider Recycling Greeting Cards with us looking at the Recycled Card Program at St. Jude’s Ranch for Children.  Whereas they accept all-occasion cards, tomorrow we will look at some options for our Holiday greeting cards.

Recycled Card Program St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, Nevada

In November they celebrated their 50th Golden Anniversary Gala with a write-up posted in their Holiday 2016 Newsletter online.

At their website page for St Judes Ranch Recycled Card Program it includes How It Works. “St. Jude’s Ranch for Children recycles your used greeting cards and creates new holiday and all-occasion greeting cards.”

For purchasing their cards there is contact information along with details of what comes in the packets of ten cards to order.

The page includes details for sending your cards to them.  “Year-round, we happily accept used all-occasion greeting cards.”

Included among their tips for sending them your cards, it mentions they do not accept Hallmark, Disney or American Greeting cards.  The preferred size, along with an address for mailing to them in Flat Rate box is there too.

“Only the card front can be used (please check to be sure the backside of the front of the card is clear of any handwriting, etc.).

Join me tomorrow as we look at some options suggested at Recycle Nation for Part 2.
