It was just last week the 2017 Paperweight Collectors Association PCA Convention was held in Norfolk, Virginia.
And if you are in the New England area this Saturday, the New England Paperweight Collectors Association is having their Spring 2017 Meeting in Marlboro, Massachusetts.
When I started AnchoredScraps.com encouraging letter writing, my paperweight collection consisted of four paperweights. Fast forward 798 daily blog posts later and there are now nine paperweights on the top of my English Secretary desk!

At the Paperweight Collectors Association PCA website “furthering the art and appreciation of glass paperweights” – it is a great entry portal to seeing a glimpse into the art of paperweights.
From their site:
“The Paperweight Collectors Association, Inc. (PCA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to appreciating and collecting glass paperweights. For over a half century, PCA has championed the study and collecting of antique, vintage, and contemporary glass paperweights. The mission of the PCA is to promote education: to increase knowledge about paperweights, their creators, and the astounding glass medium from which they are created.”
You especially want to check out their Look and Learn galleries. This is a link to their membership application to join, it is very affordable and I will be joining!
Their website is one I will definitely be spending more time with in the future, and I hope you will give it a try too checking out their site.
Exploring more about paperweights, stationery, fountain pens, postage stamps,… continues to be so much fun!
