USPS Botanical Art Tote Bag

Today we are looking at the USPS Botanical Art Tote Bag available in a pack of 5 at the USPS website. These came out last June after my blog post on Postage Themed Tote Bags in April 2016.  While we are still in Spring with May flowers today’s blog shows these beautiful stamp inspired tote bags.

The Botanical Art Forever stamp booklets were first issued in January 2016.  They “…feature ten designs, each a detail of an illustration from an American gardening catalog printed between 1891 and 1912.” Be sure to see the Botanical Art Limited Edition Collectibles.

If you have a special ‘girls outing’ coming up this would be a lot of fun to give this tote bag out to everyone in the group.  The set of five is priced at $15.95.

“This glossy laminated Botanical Art Tote Bag is made from 100% recycled PET. This bag measures 14 x 15-inches with an 8-inch gusset and has convenient shoulder-length straps.

The Botanical Art Tote Bag features 2 stamps on each side.

The stamp art features detail of an illustration from an American nursery catalog printed between 1891 and 1912. The design details are courtesy of The New York Botanical Garden; the catalogs are part of NYBG’s Nursery and Seed Catalog Collection, one of the largest and most important such collections in the U.S. …”

Thank you for joining me today. This next week may be a shorter work week for some of us with Memorial Day Holiday Weekend approaching. Even though I’m taking off a long weekend from work, I’ll continue to be blogging daily throughout and have some themed blog posts already working on preparing.  Wishing you a great Sunday!
