Nothing says First Day of Summer like this Watermelon Pencil Sharpener!
The Farmer’s Almanac is telling me today is the First Day of Summer.
“The summer solstice 2017 falls on Wednesday, June 21, 12:24 A.M. EDT. Summer Solstice (Northern Hemisphere)”.
“The timing of the solstice is not based on a specific calendar date and time. It depends on when the Sun reaches its northernmost point from the equator.”
“This summer solstice is the day with the most hours of sunlight during the whole year.”
Recently I struck up a conversation with a person who has over 1000 Pencil sharpeners in his collection!
