Our blog post is on this Postcards story airing last week on CBS Sunday Morning Wish You Were Here. This sweet uplifting two and half minute story will have you smiling.
You’ll want to hear the impact of David Lasseter sending NEARLY 20,000 Postcards OVER 20 YEARS to his four children!
It is endearing and inspiring. Thank you so much to my dear friend Ellen for sharing with me last Sunday when she was watching it live.
From last week on CBS Sunday Morning, February 18, 2018: “Wish You Were Here”
“David Lasseter misses his four kids, so practically every day they’re not home in Valdosta, Georgia, he sends them a postcard – creative correspondence that really only conveys one, important message. Steve Hartman reports.”
I’m going to have to write David Lasseter and ask if there have ever been cases of postcards delayed in arriving. It was just last week I began hearing from friends postcards sent almost three months ago back in November finally began arriving! Wishing you a Happy Sunday!
Anchors Aweigh,
Helen
