The Wreaths Across America 2018 Wreath Sponsorship cut off date is fast approaching; it is the second Monday following Thanksgiving Day – December 3rd.
Given the deadline is less than a week away, there is a time sensitivity and therefore the reason for this being the focus of my blog today.
In addition, locally the Wilmington National Cemetery wreath-laying ceremony is on December 15 at 12 Noon this year.
National Wreaths Across America Day
This is a link to their Wreaths Across America Sponsorship page.
“Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 1,400 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad.”
Furthermore, I’m still recalling “… approaching my first Christmas without my Dad and I’ll never forget receiving a tag sharing a wreath … placed in his memory during their National Wreaths Across America Day.”
My sincere thanks to the many volunteers several of which are email blog subscribers here.
Thank you for joining me today on #GivingTuesday.

Helen
