Seeing the set of eight blank Willow Tree Note Cards stationery has me recognizing one of the patterns in the set. I’ve got a stash of these I’ve been saving for a letter writing social! The Willow Tree figurines hold special memories from dear friends with remembering my Dad and are of comfort. In addition, at the end of my post today I’m wrapping up the Holidays 2018 with today being the Epiphany, January 6th.

With today being the 6th of January, I’m including this AnchoredScraps post from two years ago –Epiphany Three Kings Day Christmas Magi Stamp. I’m including this excerpt:
“…commonly known as Three Kings’ Day in the United States, is on January 6. It celebrates the three wise men’s visit to baby Jesus and also remembers his baptism, according to the Christian Bible’s events. … Epiphany marks the beginning of the Mardi Gras season in Louisiana. …”
My embossed cards from Discovering Three Kings Card (12-27-2018) arrived and I’ve been writing notes on them.
In conclusion, tomorrow I’ll take down the Christmas wreath on our front porch. Furthermore, it means now truly putting away the Holidays for 2018. I’m finding great peace in associating this day each year with the Epiphany. (and on a personal note), It’s been four years now since losing my Dad and find great comfort in associating the date with celebrating the “three wise men’s visit”.
Join me tomorrow as we kick-off a new week here at AnchoredScraps encouraging putting pen to paper with writing a few letters!
