A Picture Postcard History of Baseball by Ron Menchine

I’m seeing a First Edition copy of “A Picture Postcard History of Baseball” by Ron Menchine.

A Picture Postcard History of Baseball by Ron Menchine

“A selected historical view of baseball from the early 1900’s to the late 1950’s. Also included reference information for the postcard collector.”

The Introduction is by Ernie Harwell. It includes an Autographed Ron Menchine’s Postcard.

There are 135 pages of the 1992 First Edition.  Pricing is at $14.95 and nominal shipping fee. The following is from the Etsy listing which I’m including.

“This is a treasure for the baseball fans.
The book is inscribed to my husband as follows: “Best regards to my good friend, Steve Reeves, King of the Exhibits” and signed “Ron Menchine”.
Also included the postcard of Ron Menchine in the Washington Senators uniform with the inscription “Ron Menchine, Voice of the Senators”.
The book is in excellent condition.”

In closing, I’m quoting from the movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, “Heeeeeeeeeeeey Batter, batter, batter, batter, swing, batter…”

Anchors Aweigh,

Helen
