PEO 150th Anniversary Pictorial Postmark September 12 2019

It is a joy seeing the PEO 150th Anniversary Pictorial Postmark for today, September 12, 2019, included in today’s Postal Bulletin!

The Sesquicentennial Celebration begins today and runs through Saturday, at the Iowa Events Center (Thursday, September 12, 2019 – Saturday, September 14, 2019).

It was a joy in June to attend my first NC PEO State Convention in Winston-Salem as one of my local PEO Chapter delegates.

I’m including this Link 74th Convention of International Chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood. Also, there is this About P.E.O. link including a short video.

PEO 150th Anniversary Pictorial Postmark September 12, 2019

I’m already thinking of how pretty it will be to send letters using some of my daisy stationery notecards when mailing letters routing to get this PEO 150th Anniversary Pictorial Postmark.

In addition, the Pictorial Postmarks Announcement today is showing this as the address for requesting the Pictorial Postmark.

Furthermore, if you are new to the process of how to request I’m including this partial excerpt.

“All requests must include a stamped envelope or postcard bearing at least the minimum First-Class Mail® postage. Items submitted for postmark may not include postage issued after the date of the requested postmark. Such items will be returned unserviced.

Customers wishing to obtain a postmark must affix stamps to any envelope or postcard of their choice, address the envelope or postcard to themselves or others, insert a card of postcard thickness in envelopes for sturdiness, and tuck in the flap. Place the envelope or postcard in a larger envelope and address it to:  Pictorial Postmarks, followed by the Name of the Station, Address, City, State, ZIP+4® Code, as listed next to the postmark.”

Before wrapping up, you may have missed and/or in case wanting to re-read, I’m including my post, 1903 Round Robin Letters almost 50 years featuring P.E.O. and letter writing, from 8-03-2016.

In conclusion, you’ll note today’s closing I’m signing a little differently than most days with the following sentiment.

LIPEO,

Helen

P.S. Today is daily blog post #1660, the trek continues to #1700!
