Enjoying Snailmail Bag Arrivals (part 1) & #YOLO

Enjoying Snailmail Bag Arrivals (part 1) and #YOLO is my title as we wrap up July. Tomorrow kicks off August 2022!

It is fun sharing the  snail mail in my inbox this week, especially as the I enjoy being penpals with each of them. There were two beautiful postcards, a paperback book with thank you note (in follow-up from my blog post last Sunday).

Furthermore, there were three different items I have blogged about and ordered that arrived! Let’s begin!

First, there is this Cape Cod postcard from long time email blog subscriber Jen. It is fun reading there is talk of an upcoming visit to Myrtle Beach and include trekking out to the Kindred Spirit mailbox “nearby”. Thank you so much Jen!

Next, this “Grasshopper and the Ant” postcard is from local pen pal Suzanne. The other side shares it is from The Museum of Fine Arts St. Petersburg.

She is also a long time AnchoredScraps email blog subscriber. Thanks again Suzanne!

Follow-up on HEARTSPOKEN post last week

My hardback I ordered arrived, AND also a paperback of it from the Author, Elizabeth! The book is FANTASTIC!!

In my post NEXT Sunday I will be sharing a drawing I am going to have for giving the paperback away to one of our readers!

And she included a gorgeous bookplate for me to put with my hardback. Thank you Elizabeth!

Dont worry, there will be plenty of time to participate with the details I announce in the post, so stay tuned!

The vintage pool postcards arrived ( will post the photo soon, for some reason it is not uploading right now).

And the seaglass note cards arrived!

Next week will be part 2 of Enjoying Snailmail Bag Arrivals.

#YOLO (You Only Live Once)

With there being just five weeks until Labor Day, it has me using the hashtag #YOLO. I am reminding myself ‘now is the time’ to be getting things done whether they are declaring its ‘goof off time’ or on the other spectrum spend a focused three hours on my to-do list. Do you have anything you are wanting to complete in the remaining summer days of 2022? I am getting my PMI recerts completed six months early so it will be off my to do list.

Here’s to a great August! See you back here next Sunday!
