Protect Sea Turtles stamps arrive June 11, 2024

Reading the new Protect Sea Turtles stamps arrive June 11, 2024 has me excited!

When the newest issue of the USPS Philatelic Catalog Magazine Spring 2024 arrived just a week ago I was delighted to see the upcoming new Protect Sea Turtles Forever Stamps on the cover! If you click on that link it will take you to see the entire magazine in PDF format online. It is a joy to read and especially fun given it is 52 pages!

Protect Sea Turtles stamps arrive June 11, 2024

Although not showing up on the USPS Postal Store site yet, it is my understanding beginning on May 11th we can begin pre-ordering them.

The First Day of Issue Ceremony will be held in Corpus Christi, Texas.  We can begin preordering on May 11, 2024.

It is showing a pane of 18 stamps on a sheet, showcasing 6 different sea turtle species.

Before closing wanted to mention, should you find yourself traveling to North Carolina, you’ll want to check out the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center in Surf City, NC. It was local to us for the 20 years we lived in North Carolina.

This next month, May 2024, will find us celebrating the milestone it being six months for us moving here to South Carolina! The time continues to fly by and while they aren’t sea turtles we do have a family of seven turtles who like to sun themselves mid-day on the lawn between our fenced yard and the pond – all the while Cooper (now age 8!) watches them along with the various egrets, cranes, mallards, blue birds, and others who like to stop by the pond.

Here’s to a great month of May ahead for us!

Anchors Aweigh,

Helen
