Today our letter writing interests find us looking at these whimsical Coloring Book of Cards and Envelopes of Flowers and Butterflies by Nosy Crow, each in a set. This is one of the several paperbacks in their series of The Coloring Book of Cards and Envelopes.
This afternoon I have found myself using a lot of the Inkspirations Color Me Postcards I recently was blogging about thoroughly enjoying getting to insert along with letter writing. The resulting impact is I’m wanting to get even more types of these coloring stationery items to have for my letter writing.
The Coloring Book of Cards and Envelopes: Flowers and Butterflies
The illustrator is Rebecca Jones and according to the profile is showing her as living in Australia.
This came out in March 2016. I’m expecting it to need extra postage. I’m thinking of using some of the Eastern Tailed-Blue butterfly stamps I blogged about last year.
There are 24 cards in the paperback set of The Coloring Book of Cards and Envelopes: Flowers and Butterflies.
From what I understand, the size when folding results in a square size of 5 ¼ x 5 ¼ inches.
“The twenty four beautiful designs include buds, blossoms, butterflies and more and are perfect for all ages to decorate and send to family and friends. Take inspiration from nature, or get experimental – try unusual colors and different materials to make each card truly unique! With enough blank space inside for a message, envelopes to customize and cute stickers to seal your card – this is the complete creative package!”
Also in 2016, they came out with The Coloring Book of Cards and Envelopes: Nature, and one for Christmas in the series.
In 2017 they came out with The Coloring Book of Cards and Envelopes: A Year of Celebrations. It has 36 cards and envelopes. In March of this year, they came out with Summertime version in the series too.
This afternoon and evening have been an opportunity to catch up on some letter writing. I’m looking forward to receiving this set of coloring stationery. I’m finding sometimes I’m sending plain for the recipient to then color making it part of the surprise.
Hurricane Irma
As I wrap up writing today’s blog post, I am mindful of Hurricane Irma in Florida now. Last night Seth Godin had a special blog post on First aid matters encouraging to make a donation to the Red Cross; at the donation page one can select specifically for Hurricane Irma or Hurricane Harvey among their choices. He also encourages considering supporting the food bank.
I’m signing off with Cooper in my signature today.
Paws crossed in prayers,
Helen
