Our title today is along the lines of Things To Write in Christmas Cards and Christmas Newsletter. Not to play favorites, we are looking at suggestions from both American Greetings and Hallmark. Both articles have some great ideas and you’ll want to get a cup of hot tea, coffee, or chocolate too!
Happy Friday! As I am writing today’s blog post at lunchtime, Cooper is at the window crying at a BIRD that keeps hanging out in the Japanese Maple tree in our backyard.
Things To Write in Christmas Cards and Christmas Newsletter, thanks to American Greetings & Hallmark
At this point in the Holiday Season, you may like me be thinking it is TIME to finally compose, and print the Christmas Newsletter to include with the cards. After addressing the cards, we are eventually going to stare at the card itself and want to say something. And if this is in addition to already writing for the newsletter, not wanting to repeat the same thing on the card.
I’m hoping the suggestions at American Greetings and Hallmark help inspire. Furthermore, getting us to take action and have fun writing our Christmas Messages.
American Greetings
Categories include general Christmas Messages to write in cards for anyone, for family, friends, special someone in your life, across the miles, religious Christmas Card messages, for those who don’t celebrate Christmas, clever or funny, business greetings and holiday messages to employees.
“…We’ll break it down for you into a bunch of possible scenarios. Everything from what to write in a Christmas card for family to friends to business associates to that special someone in your life. So just zip down until you find the categories that apply to you. And use those ideas to add a thoughtful and personal touch to your Christmas wishes this year.”
Hallmark
The categories are Gearing Up to Write, For Friends, For Family, For Those Who Are Far Away, Difficult Circumstances, For Professional Relationships, and Warm Closings.
“… That’s where this guide comes in. It offers tips and inspiration from Hallmark writers to get you started, whether you’re signing three cards or 63. You can adapt these Christmas wishes and message ideas to work for a traditional Christmas card, holiday newsletter, custom photo card or other seasonal greeting.”
In closing, here’s to an inspiring letter writing Christmas cards on Friday!
And Cooper tells me we must include this Birthday shout out to Bruce!
