‘Letter of Encouragement from Nature’

Today I was greeted with a ‘Letter of Encouragement from Nature’ when noticing this first peek of the first flower on our rose bush this morning.

The climbing rose in this photo was taken with my zoom as it was five feet above my head!

Both photos shown were taken by me.

In watering the plants early this morning I had to stop everything and grab my camera.   The upper left photo shows the first glimpse of the first peek of the first rose on our new rose bush that was planted last Fall.

And the climbing yellow rose bush has some beautiful blooms when pausing and looking up – they were all above my head!

Wanted to share this quote from Art Linkletter – “Do a little more than you’re paid to.   Give a little more than you have to. Try a little harder than you want to. Aim a little higher than you think possible, and give a lot of thanks to God for health, family, and friends.”

The weather today has been stunning – one of the prettiest days of 2015 to date.  It is as if the ‘memo was received’ that today is Earth Day.  Today’s photos and story will definitely make my scrapbook – celebrating the everyday!

I encourage you to get outside (weather permitting) and enjoy!  If not today then think about making plans for the weekend to be outside!
