Happy Sunday here at AnchoredScraps.com.
You may be someone who likes to queue up their personal correspondence for a serene Sunday afternoon to enjoy putting pen to paper. Today I wanted to share a helpful ebook on Thank You Notes.
The ebook “Thank You Notes Templates and Tips for Easy & Heartfelt Letters of Gratitude” by Angela Johnson, June 21,2015, is available for a nominal amount online.
And with it being a ebook it is something you can access today and make immediate use with your letter writing.
What I like are the examples provided can serve as a working template to help spur on your own creative words to convey in your written Thanks. While the ebook may seem like it is written more for wedding related Thank You’s – it will work for other occasions needing Thank You notes written.
It includes these topics: “To Members of the Wedding Party”, “To Family and Friends”, “To People You Barely Know”, “For Gifts You Don’t Like”, “For Monetary Gifts”, For Donation Gifts to a Beloved Charity”, “For Donation Gifts to a Non-Profit You Dislike”, “For Long Distance Guests and No Gifters”, and “For Officiates and Vendors”.
“Writing thank you notes can be easy, sincere and heartfelt if you have the right resources and attitude.”
“Thank you notes should really be handwritten and in cursive preferably unless you have broken your arm recently, or you have truly illegible handwriting. It is usually faster to hand write your few sentences anyway, once you boot up the computer program, line up your note cards in the printer, download a formatted template and remember to buy more printer ink.”
Today I’m closing this blog post with saying Thank YOU for continuing to be on this blog journey with me and to the growing list of email blog subscribers.
Join me tomorrow when we kick-off the new week in October, it will be the first Monday in October. If you are already planning ahead for the month it is important to note next week is the second Tuesday and the Third Thursday on the same week!
Anchors Aweigh,
Helen
