Santa Mail & Special Holiday Postmarks

If you have ever thought about doing something extra fun with getting an actual Letter From Santa orchestrated or having a special holiday postmark on your greeting cards today’s blog post is full of details with the ‘how-to’ and there is still time.

We have until next Tuesday, December 15, to get our letters into the mail in time to get Letters From Santa, this is all thanks to the Postal Service™ complete with the North Pole Postmark!

“The Letters from Santa program adds to the excitement of Christmas and is ideal for interesting youngsters in letter writing, stamps and penmanship.”

1.”Have the child write a letter to Santa and place it in an envelope addressed to: Santa Claus, North Pole.

2.Write a personalized response to the child’s letter and sign it “From Santa.”

3.Insert both letters into an envelope, and address it to the child.

4.Add the return address: SANTA, NORTH POLE, to the envelope.

5.Ensure a First-Class Mail stamp is affixed to the envelope.

6.Place the complete envelope into a larger envelope, with appropriate postage, and address it to: NORTH POLE POSTMARK POSTMASTER

About those Special Holiday Postmarks

40205_2015_JoyToTheWorldCoverTheir instructions on “How to get address-specific postmarks” is very nice and I counted 16 different Special Holiday Postmarks being made available and there is still time just make sure to note below “After Dec. 10, please use Priority Express Mail.”

 “Customers wanting a special holiday postmark on their greeting cards need to do the following:

1.Personalize greeting card, seal in an envelope and print addresses on envelope.

2.Place postage stamp on each envelope.

3.Mail all addressed greeting cards together in a larger envelope or Priority Mail package to the appropriate address.

4.Mail the package no later than Dec. 10. After Dec. 10, please use Priority Express Mail.”
