Happy Easter 2016 with these Vintage Easter Post Cards and being reminded of the television Series Finale from “Touched by An Angel”.
Happy Easter 2016!
The Vintage Easter Postcards shown are from The New York Public Library Digital Collections from their Easter Postcard Collection. Not only are the fronts of the postcards scanned but also their backs along with the postmark cancel, stamp, “To” address, and message. On some of them I noticed the year written in pencil in some of the images I looked at as a sampling.
Today I’m reminded of the television series “Touched by An Angel” and its two part series finale in Season 9 – “I Will Walk With You”. Not to give the plot away by talking about it here but the series did conclude in April 2003. On my Season 1 DVD set it includes the two part Series Finale which I’ve always been so glad that it was included with Season 1. If you have seen the finale already then you know why I’m thinking of it today on Easter and if you haven’t viewed it yet – perhaps you are making your way through the seasons – know that it is a great way they concluded the series.
Hopefully your plans today include spending time with family and friends!
