Kicking off the month is today’s blog post of August Letter Writing Goals Quality vs Quantity.
One of the things I mentioned last month when writing my 500th daily blog post was “Moving forward I’m striving to be more consistent with posting around the same time each day.”
With that said today’s blog topic is inspired from a snail-mail received over the weekend. On Saturday I received a wonderful hand written note from one of My Three Muses here at AnchoredScraps.com! The note included the idea of remembering “Quality vs Quantity” when it comes to our letters. It was written on stationery from the Rosanne Beck Collections Everyday Slab Pad. The 8X6 page was a fun size of stationery to receive.
In setting our letter writing goals this month decide on a number and have it include any birthday cards you plan to send out. Now is the perfect time to look at the list of August birthdays in the month ahead. Round up the birthday cards you are planning on addressing and getting them ready to put into the mail.
“I trained for less than three-quarters of an hour, maybe five days a week – I didn’t have time to do more. But it was all about quality, not quantity – so I didn’t waste time jogging, ever. “
-Roger Bannister
The AnchoredScraps Time Saving Personalized Note Template comes in handy with letter writing. For saving time have a few printed in advance. It makes it convenient to then circle, fill in the blank, and include a few comments.
Wishing you a great month ahead in August!

Helen
