This morning we are welcoming in the month with October Garage Sales Letter Writing Finds. I’m up extra early for participating in the neighborhood-wide garage sale today.  We are raising money for P.E.O. !   It is with a grateful heart that the weather is cooperating I am writing today’s blog post.

There are many participants contributing items for the garage sale in my drive-way today.   The usual scope of putting a few things out in the driveway has mushroomed!   Our puppy Cooper has already been helping me earlier in the week in pulling items to include in the sale today.

Welcome to October!

The weather forecast thankfully has only 20% rain after yesterday’s morning deluge with 80% rain.  The rain cleared yesterday late morning for perfect timing of the afternoon drop-offs of items as we have gotten ready for today.

October Garage Sales Letter Writing Finds

For those of you who find yourself out this morning and taking in a few garage sales see if you don’t come across any Letter Writing Finds.  There could be old stationery, fountain pens, and/or an old stamp collection.  Finding an old stationery desk someone may be selling that just needs a little TLC may present itself to you!   Be on the look out for old paper-weights or an old letter opener.   The box that contains at first glance what might be the old kitchen sink junk drawer may contain something that is a real find!  Perhaps there is a bundle of old letters tied with a ribbon mixed in among the box of old papers.

The day is full of possibilities ahead!  We’ll even have some home-baked goods for a bake-sale table in the drive-way this morning.  I’m telling myself they are calorie free!  Wishing you a great month ahead!
