It was a joy while at the Sunday matinee today to see the preview of upcoming Collateral Beauty movie with letter writing! 

My daily blog writing on encouraging old-style correspondence here at AnchoredScraps.com finds me delighted to have seen this preview today and
amazed at the creativity already intimated in the plot in its movie preview.

The movie premise is describing it as:

“When a successful New York advertising executive suffers from a great tragedy, he retreats from life. While his concerned friends try desperately to reconnect with him, he seeks answers from the universe by writing letters to Love, Time and Death. But it’s not until his notes bring unexpected personal responses that he begins to understand how these constants interlock in a life fully lived, and how even the deepest loss can reveal moments of meaning and beauty.”

Collateral Beauty stars Will Smith, Helen Mirren, Kate Winslet, Edward Norton, Keira Knightley, Michael Peña and Naomie Harris.   They are advertising a release date of December 16, 2016.

There are two official trailers.  Movie Trailer #1 is what was shown at the movie theater this afternoon.

Dear Universe

At the Collateral Beauty Movie website it includes “Dear Universe” with buttons to write your letter to the Universe and “explore the gallery of letters”. Buttons are to Love, Time, and Death.  When you click on each button, they begin with Dear Love,  or Dear Time, or Dear Death depending on which button you clicked.   And then you can type away.

In conclusion, I’m really looking forward to seeing this upcoming movie Collateral Beauty. It is less than two weeks away!
