Thinking of Spring today has me recalling the scene from the movie Ground Hog Day with Bill Murray with him in the Hallway towards the end of the movie. Our beloved character, Phil, finally gets it right in this scene!
Man in Hallway: Think it’ll be an early spring?
Phil: Winter, slumbering in the open air, wears on its smiling face a dream… of spring. Ciao.
Man in Hallway: [Absolutely chuffed] Ciao.
If you’ve seen the movie, you know the way Phil has made the man’s day and the way he says Ciao! It is this sense of contentment, enthusiasm, and joy that I encourage us to convey in our letter writing this week.
