It really was a year ago today, I was blogging about the Annual Hand Turkey Competition. Fast Forward and the 2017 Competition is open over at By A Show Of Hands!

This bit of whimsical fun I’m hoping you will try, be sure to include a copy of entry form within your Thanksgiving letter writing.

The deadline is November 24th for the Turkey Time 2017 10th Annual Hand Turkey Competition.

From the Entry Form, we read –

“With three categories (kids, grown-ups, and pros), we invite you to upload your own creative hand turkeys for a chance to win an awesome prize and certificate! There is now also the option to vote online. We’ll pick R29 favorites from each of the categories and there will also be a People’s Choice award to the turkey (or turkeys) that get the most online votes.”

… “Our oh-so-experienced (hand) turkey judges will scour the submissions, analyze the
comments, and select our finalists on November 29. PLEASE NOTE: in order to be
considered for a finalist spot, we strongly recommend that you use the hand
template we’ve provided. That said, if you’re not in it for the accolades,
feel free to let your imagination run like a wild turkey!

Please have your turkeys back to us by midnight, one day after Thanksgiving
(November 24). May the best (hand) turkey win!”

This could be fun to make a copy of your Entry Form and then resize to make into a bookmark for sending with your Thanksgiving letter writing. Enjoy!
