Orange You Glad … for Costco Returns Policy is my play on words for my daily blog post title today. Specifically, there is a great quick lesson I’m sharing about returning my eight-pound bag of navel oranges in a mesh bag to Costco.
This newsy tidbit I’m sharing in my letter writing this morning, it finds me recalling my Orange You Glad story from yesterday.
You know how without opening the bag the oranges LOOK wonderful? Alas, once at home upon opening it, the oranges were displaying enough mold for manufacturing penicillin!
Before driving over to Costco, I’m so glad I had called ahead and yes, they will accept a photo of it. Furthermore, I did not have to carry around my smelly bag of navel oranges around with me for returning! Upon showing up at the Customer Returns counter I shared I had called ahead, and yes, the photo was sufficient. This makes the return effort a small task. Getting a refund instead of just tossing it was worth it. By the way, I had forgotten it was almost ten dollars – these little dribs and drabs do add up with tracking the budget!

My thanks to Mystic Stamp Company for the image of the USPS self-adhesive 2001 Orange stamp from 2001. “… first as a pane of 20 stamps, in convertible booklet form, and later in the year in vending booklets.”
It is hard to believe it is the last Thursday in the month of October 2018! November is one week away. Of course, you already know my closing for today – Orange you glad you read today’s post!
Anchors Aweigh,
Helen
P.S. As a reminder Costco Returns Policy from their website, “On Merchandise: We guarantee your satisfaction on every product we sell, and will refund…”
