On Looking at ALL 10 new Bugs Bunny Stamp Designs Sneak Preview is our blog topic on this Saturday.
First, one of the benefits of being in my local stamp club is receiving the stamp club emails.
Thank you to Jimmy Jordan, Wilmington Philatelic Society for inspiring today's post
In my email inbox yesterday it was great receiving this excerpt I’m including with his permission.
“I’m sure everyone has been on pins and needles in anticipation of the release of the Bugs Bunny pane of postage stamps. The USPS has been very coy about the upcoming July 27 release by not showing any pre-issue pictures of the stamps. Even as late as yesterday’s July 16 edition, the USPS Postal Bulletin stated that the stamp designs would be released at a later date. Today (July 17) the USPS released a picture of one of the ten stamp designs with the intention of releasing one more picture each day for the next nine days.
However, if you want to take a shortcut and see all of them right now, just go to the latest USPS Philatelic Catalog and scroll down to the third page. There is a picture of the complete pane of stamps! Sometimes the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing! …”Jimmy Jordan, Secretary, Wilmington Philatelic Society

Think of it as an Easter Egg! Here is the PDF link to the USA Philatelic 2020 Volume 25 Summer issue at USPS with Bugs Bunny on the cover! It is on page 1 of the catalog New Issues (and is page 3) in the pdf. I have made a copy of it; however, in case someone really wants the fun of seeing the unveiling each day, I’m leaving it to you to go to the link and view the PDF.
Do the new stamps include either of the Bugs movie scenes I am hoping they do?
Lastly, in my blog post on the Upcoming Bugs Bunny 80th birthday stamps July 27,at the time of writing there had been no pre-issue images of the stamps. One of the things I’ve been hoping is if the new stamp designs will include referencing the two scenes from the Bugs movies I was referencing in that post. We can open the PDF link above and see!
Thank you again to Jimmy. By referencing the stamp club, I’m hoping it encourages you to explore participating with a hobby group you enjoy too! See you tomorrow for my Sunday blog post.
