Celebrating AnchoredScraps 7 Years blog Anniversary

Today we are Celebrating AnchoredScraps 7 Years blog Anniversary! I’m posting a day earlier and will resume posting on our regular Sunday routine next week.

Our focus today is on looking ahead and I’m including my list of five items below.

AnchoredScraps first blog post February 26, 2015; today February 26, 2022 is 7th Anniversary!

In addition, before beginning, just to share this one link to previous #bloganniversary posts for those of you who may want a look back.

Celebrating AnchoredScraps 7 Years blog Anniversary

First of all, my focus is continuing to post weekly. My sincere thanks to our email blog subscribers as I’m seeing the readership rate going up and appreciate your interest!   One of the reasons I began posting just weekly back in November was to have more development time for quality blog content. Again, seeing your response has me smiling – and it is giving me more time for writing actual letters sending out snail mail.

Secondly, I’m going to continue with free downloadable printables scattering them among our weekly posts. My thanks to Kathy, Ellen, and Melissa each for sending me snail mail with our most recent printable, Just a short note to say … Hello.

Third, I’m looking at another Letter Writing Social; however, the next one I’m looking at being virtual with zoom given so many of us are scattered not only the U.S. and Canada, Europe, Australia, and South Africa. More to follow.

Fourth, just as I did my first reading of a favorite Christmas short story this past December, I’m already planning another one for December 2022.

And lastly, my snailmail subscriber list this years’ approach is with rotating through it. I will be writing everyone individually at least once this year.

It continues to be a joy to be on this blog post journey with you!

Before closing, this next week marks Ash Wednesday and Lenten Letters season, and Easter being on April 17th, 2022. It is just two weeks from tomorrow we will have Daylight Savings Time 2022 on March 13. I’ll see you back here next Sunday, March 6th.

In the meantime, here’s to a joyous rest of your weekend and week ahead.

Anchors Aweigh,

Helen
