We are celebrating the July 4th 2022 Weekend with our first post of the new month. It has been rain, rain, and more rain until earlier today. FINALLY some sunshine!
Did you see where there will be a postal rate coming this month? The Forever First class mail rate is going to increase from 58 cents to 60 cents. It happens beginning on July 10th.
Celebrating July 4th 2022 Weekend & casseroles and consignment
This weekend has found yours truly busy at the beginning of it with a gift of my time helping out with getting items to consignment for a friends family dealing with settling her estate. Instead of gifting making and dropping off a casserole this was the most helpful of things to do and I am grateful for the opportunity to do something concrete.
In the midst of that, Friday morning with huge rain storm our home was hit by lightning and it took out the garage door opener and the cable modem for internet. Thankfully that is the extent of it and we are still in the queue for the garage door opener repair, etc.
Tomorrow we will be joining family in from out of town up at Topsail Island. It looks like the rain is finally letting up!
