Centre Court Wimbledon Greeting Card

The Centre Court Wimbledon Greeting Card available by IllustrationbyJon on Etsy is beautiful. I have thoughts of tennis for letter writing on my mind for this weeks blog post.

Earlier today saw the Wimbledon 2022 Singles Final held with Novak Djokovic winning the title  And Saturday, for the Women’s Final it was Elena Rybakina winning it.

As far as tennis weather for us we have had a LOT of rain here; although it was great seeing the blue sky Friday morning while at pool zumba.

In addition, in today’s blog I’m now seeing three Pictorial Postmarks for July 4 2022 available (details further below). Next is a wrap-up of what all we  we ended up replacing from the lightning hitting us a week ago. And lastly, we have a P.S. with including Cooper’s 4th of July photo!

In the latest USPS Postal Bulletin 22601 (June 30, 2022) is showing THREE July 4th Pictorial Postmarks: Seward, NE, Ten Sleep, WY, and Carson City, NV . Each are available for requesting by mail. Note, and I’m quoting from their announcement, “Pictorial postmarks are available only for the dates indicated, and requests must be postmarked no later than 30 days following the requested pictorial postmark date”

Follow-up on the lightning hit we had a week ago Friday & the week ahead

The final casualty list for us from it hitting the garage is as follows: replacing the Spectrum Cable Modem, getting a new Nighthawk Wireless Router, New Garage door opener, and a new Roku unit. AND I was able to get from Amazon a Garage Door Opener Surge Protector. My sincere thanks to everyone for your texts and emails checking on us.

Here’s to hopes of less rain and more sun as we enjoy the second week of July! Can we say it? That Summer is at the half-way mark? This week will be week 7 of the summer pool zumba and it is very much wonderful! Thank you for joining me today and see you back here next Sunday!

Anchors Aweigh,

Helen
