It is fun seeing Mule Mail & Biblioburros program hosted by National Postal Museum Guest Artist Program with John Parra – this Wednesday, August 30th at 4pm ET.

The full title is Mule Mail & Biblioburros: Reaching Communities in Unexpected Ways.

It is an hour virtual zoom event. I’m including this link for registering for the free event with the NPM Guest Artist Program.

While the focus age group is for families with children ages 5-10 years, I’m planning to attend thinking of this for a fun future project with great niece and nephew.

Recalling these two previous posts on Grand Canyon Mail

In writing today’s blog posts, I’m recalling ne of my earlier blog posts from August 25, 2016, was on the Grand Canyon Postal Service Mule Mail.  At the time, they were “… celebrating the National Park Service Centennial … “

And earlier that year we were looking at a book, Grand Canyon Letters.

Before closing, wanted to share, I am beginning today the first of my two eye surgeries for cataracts. This means I’m not going to be posting for the next few weeks. Wishing you a restful Labor Day weekend as we wrap up summer and head into fall.  Thank you again for being on this blog journey with me. I’m looking forward to being back here soon.
