Thankful thoughts as we wrap up the year 2023

We are closing the month with Thankful Thoughts as we wrap up the year 2023.  I’m so thankful for having been able to move BEFORE the Thanksgiving holidays and to be writing to you from our new home.

I’m very grateful for continuing to be on this blog journey along with you!  With that said … I’m thankful for receiving so many Christmas cards this year! And with it seeing people are taking the time to create and send their cards. Yours truly is working on ours and plan to have them sent out by the Epiphany, January 6th.  Also, I’m thankful for the pen pals and friends I’ve made through this blog.

As far as the move, we have now been in our new home for six weeks since moving in after finishing construction! It is a delight having art work hung up on the walls (thank you Melissa!) and “only” seven boxes left inside the breakfast area, and about ten boxes opened to varying stages in my office – which require finishing decluttering decisions. There is of course the garage and a storage unit that I’m hopeful to tackle in January.

Wishing you a joyous and prosperous new year ahead for each of us!  Looking forward to seeing you back here in the New Year 2024!
